Four different planning versions can be used, such as PreProject Plan, PreProject Plan Blocked, Primary Planning and Current Planning.

Users can create different process scenarios in the respective planning version, from overall planning to detailed day planning by using different resources, such as such as employees, resource pools, materials and travel expenses. In addition, costs and revenues with respect to single phases can be planned.

The Gantt view is a bar chart that illustrates the project schedule. In addition, it establishes direct relation to the planning calendar and represents the selected resource and its availability highlighted in terms of colour. Excess planning, for example, is represented by a red bar. The drag & drop feature makes it easy to modify a planning by simply moving and placing information. This allows users at any time to get a general idea of their project and the resource capacity and utilisation.

A matrix for period planning is available that enables the user to plan the resources for each month per phase.

The Planning Transfer Wizard allows users to postpone and to transfer planned data to another phase or resource. Planned data can also be transferred from one project to another.

Planning with MS Project is possible with synchronised data via a two-way connection. Actual data recorded can be transferred to MS Project. Newly created processes or milestones are also transferred to the other program enabling the user to carry out the project planning in MS Project and the timekeeping and project controlling in this solution.

An overview of your project is gained by using different reports, such as:

Balance Lists - compares planning data with actual data and calculates the balance

Planning Project Summary - shows the planning data for each project phase and its subphases

Project Planning Totals - shows the planning on the basis of G/L accounts

Different views of the project planning can be selected, such as customer, customer group, business unit, company, project manager etc. The user can choose filters and periods and he can add additional columns.
