A definition form allows defining the data that is required for the
assessment of work in progress. This can be values from the
accounts, from accounting documents, purchase prices of used
materials etc.
The column definition of the calculation table allows defining
columns similar to Excel. In addition to the column names, in
particular the contents can be defined. The contents can derive
from the data source mentioned before or it can result from
the connection of already defined columns with easy arithmetic
operations or free configurable SQL queries. The result is a matrix
similar to Excel that includes one line per project.
ProjectManagement allows generating as many deferral postings as
you like for the assessment of plants in progress. For this pupose,
the values of each column can be optionally linked with a debit and
credit account of the financial accounting. This allows generating
accounting events for the inventory of plants in progress and
provisions for anticipated losses.
This wizard generates the corresponding journal entries according
to the accounts defined in the column definition and posts the data
in the financial accounting. In the following month the journal
entries will be canceled by the accounting wizard and recalculated
thereafter. The balance resulting from the recalculation is the
inventory change of plants in progress.
This list shows the balances or individual records of the WIP
operation for selected periods per project.
